Stay safe in the event of bad weather

Bad weatherExtreme weather has hit many areas of the U.S. this season with frequent snowstorms, floods and landslides over the last couple of months. Whether you live on the East Coast or in our very own Pacific Northwest, you've probably experienced some rough weather recently!

The Seattle Times put together a great Information Page to help keep you safe during storms and power outages, as well as in the event of unpredictable disasters (i.e. earthquakes).

This page includes a graphic to teach people how to avoid carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. The Seattle Times, along with Public Health – Seattle & King County, called on Dynamic Language to translate a CO warning into Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, Punjabi, Somali, Chinese, Korean and Ukrainian.

Thanks to the Times and Public Health, even people who don't speak English can be privy to life-saving information! Stay safe, everyone!
