Virtual keyboards are just another innovative way Google is making life easier for people searching the web in their native script.
Try typing hskh on a keyboard with English letters or jskf. It’s not easy and can be very frustrating. Some people have given up typing all together and simply copy and paste their native script.
Google is integrating this new virtual (on-screen) keyboard into the Google search we all know and love. This feature will allow users to type directly in their native script by utilizing an easy to use on-screen keyboard. Google’s Virtual Keyboard currently supports 35 major languages and is in a constants stage of evolution and expansion.
If your language isn’t one of the 35, let Google know by voting for your language and they will work to make it available.
So, give it a try and let us know what you think!
