We have identified some of the most innovative and useful iPhone applications for business travelers, and vacationers.

NileGuide: What’s Next – Whether you are looking for a kid friendly restaurant in Rome or if your plane was canceled in Paris and you need a hotel, this is the application you want. It covers more than 100,000 points of interest in over 250 destinations while providing travel information as well. This app is a mere $2.99.
Jibbigo: Voice-to-Voice Translation – If your travels will take you to a Spanish, Japanese, or Chinese speaking country this summer or you just want to learn a new language, this app helps you bridge the language gap in an easy-to-use manner. Just speak into your iPhone and within seconds the translated text appears. You can then push the playback button and the sentence will be spoken in the translated language. This app is only available for the iPhone 3GS and costs between $25 to $30.
eCurrency: the Latest Exchange Rate – One resource that is always necessary to have at the finger tips of a world traveler is a currency exchange calculator. The application has the ability to tell you the exchange rate for 190 different currencies. The eCurrency app works in English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish languages. The cost of this app is only $.99
